Spoon Carving with SilverTree Woodworking

Join David Godber of SilverTree Woodworking at The Makerie for a specialty workshop to learn how to hand carve a wooden spoon!

With professional woodworker at your side, David will lead your through this three-hour, intimate workshop. No experience is necessary, as David will start at the beginning from knife safety, different grips that will be important for success, and then, you’ll start carving away!

All tools and materials are provided.

At the end of this fun session, you’ll have a finished spoon (maybe even two!)

David lives on an off-grid, solar powered homestead in northern British Columbia, surrounded by forest and wildlife. There, he crafts beautiful furniture and other wood wares in his strawbale workshop without a single power tool in sight.
