THE COFFEE BAR MENU
We love coffee and we are so lucky to have found a roaster who
is as passionate about coffee as we are.
We’re so happy to introduce Northern B.C. to Todd and Anne from PULL CAFFE, a Pacific Northwest coffee company.
PRIZED MOCHA JAVA BLEND
In their hunt for the best tasting bean, PULL has brought us the Mocha blend - said to be the world’s oldest coffee blend. This blend combines two of the world’s best premium beans to create a complex yet well balanced coffee: the arabian mocha bean and the indonesian java arabica bean.
It is said that coffee beans from Yemen, where coffee has grown since the 15th century, were shipped in the wooden hulls of sailing ships. The ships left the great port of Mokha, the primary port for the sea route to Mecca. Many of the sailors arriving at the port of Mokha were coming home from Java Island, creating a happy accident of history that produce the blend prized today as some of the world’s best coffee.
The medium dark Mocha Java blend brings out hints of a lighter citrus floral coffee, combined with the darker chocolate nutty coffee.
ORGANIC, WHISKEY BARREL AGED, WOOD-FIRE ROASTED
PULL ages their beans in whiskey barrels for 90 days before roasting them over an open wood fire (alder, cherry and maple wood) in the world’s oldest cast iron roaster until the beans are just past the first crack.
PULL also celebrates the time-honoured craft of “vacuum packed canning” to preserve their fresh-roasted quality right until we crack the seal and brew your drink. And their cans offer the ultimate in reusability.
Both our regular and decaf coffee is delicious.
Our regular roast is filled with citrus, chocolate and nutty notes.
The decaf brings out more of the burnt caramel notes in the roast.

Our Favourite TEA LATTES
A beautifully balanced blend of white tea, peach, vanilla and a hint of rose hips. Whether you prefer to drink it with or without the addition of a sweetener, Haiku has a natural light sweetness and smooth finish. Pairs well with pastries.
A luscious and fragrant light-bodied black tea with the sweetness of ripe peach, and the spice of ginger and cardamom. You'll see us feature this as an iced tea from time to time.
The fresh fruitiness of our medium-bodied Earl Grey is sweet, not soapy. Aromatic and balanced, Earl Grey is excellent both hot or served over ice. Traditionally, Earl Grey is made with black tea as a base - we use Chinese Keemun (Qimen), from the Anhui Province in east-central China, and Ceylon, from the major tea-producing island of Sri Lanka.
This decadent dessert blend combines house-roasted spices with malty Indian black tea, ripe Chinese puerh, and ginger. The result is a vibrant, full-bodied chai with a smooth and spicy finish. Try as a latte with a touch of honey.
A creamy, floral brew of malty black tea, lemon myrtle, lavender flowers, natural vanilla, honey and touch of citrus.
Organic Assam, whose malty notes are complementary to vanilla, is the base for Vanilla Rose. Just enough delicate red roses are added to the blend to provide noticeable flavor, but not overwhelm the other tastes. Vanilla beans, each one produced by a single, hand-pollinated orchid, are hand-harvested and then cured for several months before being used to make extract. Vanilla Rose is great as a stand-alone tea or with milk and sugar.
Two summertime classics—iced tea and strawberry lemonade—come together in this "Arnold-Palmer of tea blends." Lemonberry Black combines organic Sri Lankan black tea with lemon myrtle, rose petals, and sweet strawberry pieces. Smooth and clean with fresh berry and citrus undertones, one sip over ice will bring you out of the sun and into the cool shade of a relaxing afternoon.
Golden Assam is a tippy, orthodox black tea with a spicier note on the tip of the tongue and deeper, richer smoothness than our traditional Assam. It offers a brisk, full-bodied brew with a very mild astringency. This tea is perfect for enjoying as a self-drinker or mixed with a bit of cream, allowing for its natural malty flavor, complimented by hints of vanilla to really shine.
Made with just three vital ingredients, it's a true trifecta of mint-inspired perfection. The lemon myrtle infuses a touch of citrus for a more balanced blend and lightness on the top note.
Full bodied, organic South African rooibos blended with a touch of natural flavour and bee pollen for a rich brew with a mild, caramel-like sweetness.
Hibiscus, lemongrass, lemon balm and lemon myrtle give this blend its refreshing qualities. Brews a beautiful, deep red colour.
Ruby Nectar brews up a pleasant red colour, with a sweet and tart flavour that is also fruity in nature. With greenbush as a base, it delivers a very smooth brew without the caffeine of a tea drink.
Blended to gently calm frazzled nerves and brighten blue moods. Specifically devised to combat a particularly unpleasant day, it seems to serve its purpose, as many people have attested.
A sweet herbal drink that combines the light fruitiness of chamomile and lemony herbs with fragrant lavender blossoms.
This herbal blend was originally designed for Portland's very own Hampton Opera Centre. Licorice, marshmallow root, cinnamon and mint are some of the ingredients used in this blend to provide relief and aid to the throat.
At the heart of this herbal tea is turmeric, characterized by its magnificent yellow colouring and anti-inflammatory properties that are enhanced by ground black peppercorn. Cinnamon and cloves add subtle sweetness, while honeybush fills out the blend with more body.
